I spent last New Year’s eve on Copaca­bana Beach in Rio with about 3 mil­lion other rev­el­ers, most of whom where dressed in white, as tra­di­tion dic­tates. I’d love to go again this year! A num­ber of my friends are going to cel­e­brate the new year in Sal­vador da Bahia.

I had set up a blog a cou­ple of months ago to track busi­ness in Brazil but got busy and side­tracked and didn’t post many feeds. I’ve now relooked the site, renamed it to “Wire­less Brazil” and will do my best to track online busi­ness in South Amer­ica. I will cre­ate a new blog to fol­low global trends and cur­rent events in the mobile/wireless and VOIP sec­tors, with a par­tic­u­lar focus on adop­tion in South Amer­ica. Please bear with me as it will take me a cou­ple of weeks to set up a site to my liking.
