I finally passed by the Vertu store to get a look at the world’s most expen­sive mobile phone. This is the Brushed Yel­low Gold model from the Sig­na­ture col­lec­tion. List price? 17,750 Euros.

It’s got top of the line fea­tures, includ­ing a plat­inum cas­ing, sap­phire crys­tal screen, jew­eled bear­ing keys, ceramic ear pil­low and hi-fi sound.

I saw no metion of a cam­era, though … I guess there’s no moblog­ging with this device!

With the phone, you also get a concierge ser­vice for help with any­thing from restau­rant rec­om­men­da­tions to opera tick­ets. The ser­vice is acces­si­ble through the concierge but­ton on the side. At least you’ll have some­one else on the phone besides your phone ser­vice provider.
