Update: Bar­camp is com­ing to Miami! The first Bar­camp was orga­nized a year and a half ago in just 6 days by Tan­tek, Chris and a few other and was a smash­ing suc­cess. Bar­camp has since  grown to 31 cities and the model has been adopted to run uncon­fer­ences in other fields. Wikipedia has a good page on Bar­camp.
