@chrisbrogan From 12k+ followers, 100+ clicks is about 1% CTR. Are people (all of us) no more effective than banners in recommending stuff? #
@jptrenn Getting Broganized However I think a similar ratio applies to us all: only 1% or less will click through anything we recommend. #
@AuctionDirect That’s very interesting. Though the CTR is about the same, the weight of the recommendation is much greater? I agree w/ that. #
@jptrenn Probably b/c most people consult Twitter infrequently. I think CTRs also depend on marketer’s credibility and tactful perseverance. #
@AuctionDirect @jptrenn Also, even if conversion ratio is not higher, I bet social media clickers are more likely to retweet / forward #
