  • Glad tropical storm Fay is gone; back to normal now #
  • Miami kite-surfer learns about Darwin the hard way: http://ping.fm/HhMY5 #
  • Ok, so when using Ping.fm through IM, make sure you don’t confuse tabs w/ your other convos. Gah. #
  • @ScrapNancy Right! I didn’t mean to send those two tweets, they were meant for a private conversation! LOL. No biggie … #
  • @chrisbrogan From 12k+ followers, 100+ clicks is about 1% CTR. Are people (all of us) no more effective than banners in recommending stuff? #
  • @jptrenn Getting Broganized :) However I think a similar ratio applies to us all: only 1% or less will click through anything we recommend. #
  • @AuctionDirect That’s very interesting. Though the CTR is about the same, the weight of the recommendation is much greater? I agree w/ that. #
  • @jptrenn Probably b/c most people consult Twitter infrequently. I think CTRs also depend on marketer’s credibility and tactful perseverance. #
  • @AuctionDirect @jptrenn Also, even if conversion ratio is not higher, I bet social media clickers are more likely to retweet / forward #
  • Twitter Search is imperfect (though good). It does not pick up my @ reply to @chrisbrogan. Should I assume he didn’t see it either? #
  • Been busy lately sending invites, writing an FAQ on GetSatistaction, dealing w/ bugs and talking about StartPR. Sorry I’ve been so quiet … #
  • Retweeting @leahjones: I changed my goal to $3,600 to make it divisible by 18. 18 = Chai = Life. 200 x 18, can we do it? http://is.gd/1Mb8 #
