Alex develops social media initiatives and networks from business planning to launch. He co-founded and runs a worldwide community for physicians, VoxMed. He is the co-author of “Securing The Clicks: Network Security in the Age of Social Media”. A Professor at the University of Miami, School of Communications, Alex teaches a course on social media. Based in Miami, Florida, he organizes The Startup Forum, Social Media Club, BarCamp, and Mobile Monday meetups and conferences for South Florida new media professionals, and is a founding member of RefreshMiami. Alex obtained an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and speaks English, French, Portuguese, Spanish and Finnish.
